Lighthouse and steep cliffs

26 portrait images are stitched to get this 360° panorama. 27666 pixels in width build a file size of over 280 MB. Impressive figures - but not as impressive as the steep coast at Bovbjerg Fyr lighthouse and the outlook from both the lighthouse's gallery as well as from the top of the cliffs - it is the highest elevation in the area.

30 to 40 meters high cliffs are pretty uncommon for Denmarks coast lines. The height is bridged with a long flight of stairs, which are located directly at the foot of the lighthouse. It is worthwhile to have both a walk at the beach as well as on the cliff top, to Trans Kirke church for example. Maybe it is some hurry to visit the awesome little red lighthouse - battered by storms the cliffs loose space year by year - erosion can be seen on all parts of the cliffs. In the 19th century 160m of coast have been swallowed by the sea. It is matter of time when the lighthouse will be reached as well and vanish.
